Review: We had a roof installed by Alex Morgan and his team in August of 2023 at our place of residence, they had also recently installed a roof on a rental property nearby for my property owners. The roof on the house I reside in is an absolute mess. It has had issues since day ONE. I have kept complete visual records and shared documentation with not only Alex but my property owners as well. My concerns would always get brushed off and not correctly handled. The house was taking on water in two places, my front room/office and my restroom. With less than satisfactory response we contacted the insurance adjuster who came out to check out exactly what the story was. He climbed up on the roof and found a WHOLE branch secured under the shingles. The adjuster contacted Alex whom in return replied that the storm we recently had must have driven it under there..The leaking in the restroom has yet to be resolved and the steps and processes that were first mentioned, have yet to be done and other steps that were never mentioned or brought up are being done and have not been effective. Have yet to hear back from Alex since he was contacted yesterday with the news of the drywall being wet once again due to lack of correct repairs. These issues have been active and unresolved since Sept 19, 2023, and firmly believe that if action would have been taken immediately the state of the situation would have been less. We had been told that when the roof came off they took it all the way down and everything was replaced including the flashing but yet when they came to do the repair that caused the damage in the front room/office, which he continued to tell us that sideways rain was the cause of that leak, but once a team came out he was informed of a real issue and more flashing was made and installed as well as lats were replaced. But the supposed new flashing that came off looked like it came from 1975 and this roof is only 5 months old. Long story short…i was put off for months, given story after story, told that the leaks werent on them as stong winds and sideways rain were the cause and my or my property owners concerns were dismissed without any justification, and now we have a much larger situation at hand which is water under the floor from the leak on the roof, but if these concerns would have been taken seriously, noone would be reading this review or seeing these photos of the extended ongoing damages that continue to mount up. His workers who also came out to replace the drywall/ceiling in the front room left an immese mess which included pieces of shingles from in the crawlspace that fell when they tore out the old ceiling, and huge quantites of debris dirt and dust. I am honestly disgusted with his ethics of making this right considering when the issues started it hadnt even been 30 days since roof installed. Kidd Roofing as a whole may be a wonderful customer service oriented business, but mine and my property owners experience is with only one person, and that is Alex Morgan, a project estimator, who gave us promises of getting his boss involved to get it taken care of properly, and I am still waiting on that. So based strictly on the basis of work performed/supervised by Alex, I would say turn around and run the other direction from Kidd Roofing, as he is just a representative of that company but does not do them any justice of bringing positive feedback in response to work done. His follow thru game is weak, and he has treated us like we are incompetent due to being women, but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know either of his reasons he gave about our circumstances are total BS!! This man has taken the name of Kidd Roofing down quite a few levels with just our interaction. I honesly hope he hasnt done this to anyone else.
