Review: Elite Roofing wasn’t my choice of roofing contractor but who the home warranty folks selected to respond to a small roof leak I had where the lower roof line of the garage met the rest of the house. First person that responded was a younger kid, couldn’t have been friendlier, but the repair was spray foam with some grey caulk over it in a gap between the tile roof and the stucco wall. Said “ don’t get it wet or it’ll fail” as he pulled away and it started raining. Failed to fix the problem so I called them back out and a project manager responded, said the flashing under that gap needs replaced, wasn’t tall enough and was allowing water to get behind it. Sent me a quote, was gracious enough to add flashing around a plumbing vent to the work order too for while they were out here. No showed the original appointment, and took me 2 days to get them to reschedule it. They show up for the second appointment, got the flashing installed, looked great. Until I had another roofer remove a few tiles for the stucco guy to get up there to repair the wall where they had to cut it and he points out 2 broken tiles they failed to mention breaking and put sheets of lead over ( which wasn’t that big a deal if they mentioned it, I have 2 pallets worth of extra roof tiles they could have just swapped it out) and the gaping hole in the lower part of the roof that was never mentioned. They clearly saw the hole, it’s the only part of the roof where they left the original flashing when they installed the new stuff.
